Lufthansa to renew flights from Frankfurt to Tehran this month By Reuters

FRANKFURT (Reuters) – German airline Lufthansa stated on Friday that it will resume flights from Frankfurt to Tehran from April 16.
Lufthansa had suspended flights in January 2020 after a Ukranian airliner was shot down quickly after take-off from Tehran.
The airline stated it has since assessed safety measures by Iran with nationwide and worldwide authorities.
“The circumstances for protected flight operations in Iranian airspace are presently in place,” it stated in an emailed assertion.
