Shares rise in Japan and China; most different main markets closed for vacation
Markets in Japan and mainland China gained Friday, following one other document day on Wall Avenue, as most different main world markets had been closed for the Good Friday vacation.
Japan’s Nikkei 225
rose 1.1%, with SoftBank
rising greater than 3%. The Shanghai Composite
edged 0.4% larger, whereas the smaller-cap Shenzhen Composite
superior 1%. South Korea’s Kospi
gained 0.7% and shares inched larger in Malaysia
Markets in Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore and Taiwan had been closed for the vacation.
